New Year's plans anyone?

What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Do you have any big plans for tonight?I tend to stay home on New Year's Eve these days...I guess I'm getting old. I remember my younger days when I'd go out until the wee hours of the morning. I think all of that stopped after I had kids...it's not worth the fun to have to deal with little ones the next day. That's also about the time I decided not to drink much. Hangovers are definitely no fun with little ones around!

So are you going to paint the town? Go to a party? Stay home and watch movies?

Do you actually stay up until midnight? I am rarely awake to ring in the new year anymore. Yep, I'm definitely growing older!

I'm ready for the new year!

How about you? How was 2008 for you? Mine was pretty good all-in-all. I do like the "fresh start" feeling of a new year though. I always have so many goals - some I follow through with, some - not so much!

CLEANING UP AFTER CATS

I love my babies (cats), but it's a daunting task cleaning up the cat puke...they wolf down their food and then promptly throw it back up. Sometimes it seems like that's all I do in life is clean up after the cats (and the kids of course!). I wouldn't trade them for the world though!

Do you have messy cats too?

Dad's home from the hospital!

Well, my dad is coming home from the hospital today, and he couldn't be happier (me either!). His arm still looks pretty bad, but he can start oral antibiotics now. I think I've found a friend who can take Samantha too, so I'm pretty happy about that.
